This set of rods with ball and ring is ideal for demonstrating the expansion or contraction of metals.

Product Features:

• This set includes two brass rods with wooden handles with one bearing a ball at its end and the other a ring. The diameter of the ball and of the hole in the ring is about 25 mm.
• When the ball heats up, it will no longer be able to fit into the ring due to its expansion.
